Danny Kaleikini, a staple in Hawaiian music and the “Ambassador of Aloha,” will be debuting an all-new EP entitled, Aloooha alongside his grandson, Nicholas Kaleikini. The duo produced and arranged the EP together to create a modern take on the old sounds of Hawai‘i Nei. The jazz and blues-influenced recordings showcase Danny’s legendary vocals backed by the saxophone, piano, acoustic guitar, upright bass, and clarinet. Other musicians featured on the EP includes Alika Lyman, Jeff Au Hoy, Dan Del Negro, Curtis Kamiya, and Wil Tafolo.
